As a real estate professional in Bangladesh at this brand new year of 2025, If I have given a chance to advice one single advice to people embarking on a career in real estate, that would be- upgrade yourself with new skills and being a better version of yourself.
The property industry is constantly evolving; it always requires passionate individuals in sales and marketing; sales pitching to property handover needs constant attention to smaller details and keeping customers satisfaction as top priority.
In recent years, property technology – commonly referred to as ‘proptech’ – has emerged as a catalyst for positive change in the industry and the country. And as a property agent I have had the privilege of contributing to this transformation and continuing to improve the quality of services.
The term Proptech seems tough to many people and some regards it as a big investment business, but more than that – it is driving tangible improvements in how consumers buy, sell, invest in and manage real estate. For me Proptech in 2025 means make buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords life easy by using technology that people use daily. Among many trends some of the best ones I followed and will continue to follow in 2025 are-
1. Collaboration With Partners That Ensures Greater Accessibility: In my opinion, proptech’s success in depending a lot on real estate partners collaborations – especially through models such as fractional broker- ship that has been one of the primary reasons behind the sector’s rapid growth. In 2024, this fractional transaction or brokership/agent ship model has played a pivotal role in expanding accessibility within the sector, and I expect this innovative and sustainable model will gain even more traction over the coming year.
2. Technology & Data Driven Approach - the trend I expect to witness in 2025 is the widespread integration of new technologies, which has the potential to significantly enhance processes across the global proptech landscape. Similarly, by making better use of available data, proptech platforms can deliver more personalised user experiences and facilitate data-driven investment strategies.
3. Help People To Make Their Choice- final trend that I would like to highlight is the ever-increasing range of tools and products available to proptech; so consumers can use them to make their decisions.
One of the primary reasons I find this sector so interesting because its ability to continuously surprise me. I am also relishing the opportunity to drive further proptech-related progress through my work with Realtors Bangladesh, setting new trends that deliver previously untapped benefits to our customers in Bangladesh.
